Video Poker Betting and Payoffs

The payoff for a single coin bet varies depending on the game played. The following lists show typical payoffs for a single coin bet for the various video poker games. The machines allow for multiple coin playing, up to 100 coins can be gambled in some machines. (However, the usual maximum is five coins.)

On some machines, when max coins are played they increase the payoff (for example one machine pays on a royal flush: 250 coins for a single coin bet, 500 for a two coin bet, 750 for a three coin bet, 1,000 for a four coin bet and 4,000 for a five coin bet). When the payout percentages are higher when max coins are played, it’s good strategy to gamble five coins to increase your winnings over time.
